Themes
Week 1 (July 20–24): Jubilations Junior Idol
Competition-style musical showcase emphasizing teamwork
Jubilations Junior Idol is a high-energy, competition-style musical showcase where campers step into the spotlight as aspiring performers competing in a fictional singing competition. Throughout the week, campers prepare solo features, small group numbers, and ensemble choreography that culminate in a staged “live broadcast” performance for family and friends. However, the showcase takes an unexpected turn when the over-the-top show producer insists that only one camper can win. As tensions rise, the campers ultimately challenge the competitive format and unite in a powerful ensemble finale that celebrates collaboration, confidence, and community over rivalry. The result is an empowering theatrical experience that allows campers to shine individually while reinforcing the importance of teamwork and ensemble performance.
Week 2 (July 27–31): Strangest Things: The Magic Mix Tape
Musical time-travel adventure through multiple decades
Strangest Things: The Magic Mix Tape is a musical adventure that follows a group of campers preparing for their big showcase when they discover an old, mysterious cassette mix tape hidden backstage. When they press play, something magical happens — each song transports them into the decade it was created in. With every track, the campers are swept into a new era of music and movement, journeying through the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and beyond. Each decade challenges them to adapt their performance style, energy, and storytelling techniques before they can return to the present in time for their final show. Through this journey, campers learn that great performance transcends time — and that every generation has something valuable to bring to the stage.
