Jubilations Dinner Theatre
Rachel Kent as Francis Engelhoppner
Rachel Kent is a Vancouver-based actor, singer, and comedian. Originally from Saskatchewan, she’s a MainStage Improviser at The Improv Centre on Granville Island, and once got to give Archie Andrews the side eye on Riverdale (S06E08). She loves cooking, visiting garden centers (but never buying anything), and watching sweeping British period dramas. Tell her where to find a good flat white in this town.
Lawrence Pasloske as Brian Mackenzie
Lawrence is an actor based out of Edmonton. After dipping his toe into Jubilations as George Harrison in “Beatles: Back in Time”, Lawrence is back to dive headfirst into the proverbial pool. Born at the tail end of the 90’s, he’s looking forward to an opportunity to experience the decade as a grown man, rather than the tiny baby that he was the first time around. So please, leave your worries in the car with your pager, and get a little jiggy tonight; It’s what Lawrence would want.
Michael O’Keefe as Robbie Banks
Is there anything as beautiful as a wedding? Don’t let the fact that almost everyone here (including the bride and groom) are strangers to you, stop you from having the single greatest night of your life. Order that pony jug, embarrass your kids, sing along with that one part you know, ugly cry during the heartfelt speeches, clap on the 2 and 4 beats of the song! It is an honour to share the stage with such an amazingly talented cast, and having the love of my life playing my beautiful wife tonight is the icing on the wedding cake. Thanks for ignoring whoever you’re with to read this. Now, let’s go Crazy!
Miranda Niehaus as Annie Banks
I am thrilled to be invited back for my eighth show playing the part of Annie Banks! I am a graduate of the Victoria School of Performing Arts in Edmonton, and have had the opportunity to perform as a vocalist at K-Days and Big Valley Jamboree. You may remember me in roles such as Ray in Star Warz the Farce Strikes Back, Dixie in Country Star, Miley Cyrus in Night at the Museum of Rock Stars and Ellie in Beatles Back in Time. Other credits include, West Side Story (Anybody’s) and CATS (Macavity). I want to thank Bob for believing in me and for allowing me to bring my energy to the Jubilations stage (and I have a lot of it!) my fellow cast mates and crew for their support and my mom for being my biggest fan.
Jill Martin as Drew Banks
Jill is pleased as punch to be back on the Jubilations stage. Stay hydrated and have fun, friends! Much love to her wedding singer, Michael, and their two fuzzy knuckleheads, Josephine and Jughead.
