Jubilations Dinner Theatre presents Summer of ’69
I got my first real six string, I bought it at the five and dime… or maybe it was actually Woolco? Either way… it was in the Summer of 69’ and my life would never be the same. Yep… Me and some guys from school, we had a band, and we tried real hard. But then Jimmy quit, Jody got married… man that Jimmy was such a quitter. Let me take you back to that summer, and tell you the story of peace, love, long hair and music that would change the world.
What to Expect
- Incredible Experience
- Original Shows
- Delicious Food
- Lasting Memories
What is on the menu?
Our menu selections change with every show. However, it is always a 3-course dinner consisting of a salad, a choice of one of 3 dinner entrées and a choice of 2 desserts. The dinner entrée choices are always beef, chicken, and a vegetarian selection. The latter is often pasta but the chefs like to offer something other than pasta from time to time.
Meal upgrades for prime rib are available when you purchase your tickets!

Brad Weibe | Bryan
Brad is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful Jubilations cast and crew! He’s performed all over the world in an international touring cover band and is promoting his solo album called “Letting Go” featuring his own original music. Summer of ‘69 was one of the first cassettes Brad bought as a kid and he sang it in his bedroom alone all the time, now he’ll sing it with all of you watching…no pressure haha. Thanks to all of you for supporting live theatre, get ready for a rockin’ good time. Enjoy the show!
Greg Wilson | Jody
Greg is a Calgary based actor, improviser, podcaster, and musician. Select theatre credits include A Christmas Carol, Canada: The Musical, Legends of the Mountains (Carter-Ryan), Hamlet (Theatre Calgary), No Way Out (Theatre Outre), Huck Finn (Storybook Theatre), and The Basement Boys (Theatre BSMT) for which he was nominated for a Calgary Theatre Critics Award for Best Lead Actor.
Kelly Benzing | Donna
Kelly is so excited to FINALLY be performing for you all here tonight during this crazy pandemic. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Kelly started taking classical singing lessons at the age of five. You may recognize Kelly from some of her previous shows; Pirates of the North Saskatchewan 3, Star Warz 2: The Farce Strikes Back (Calgary), Jail House Rock (Winnipeg), Mamma Mio: Here We Go Again (Calgary), and most recently Country Star. Kelly would like to thank Bob, the production crew, Coach, the adcast, and her AMAZING cast mates. A big thank you goes out to Kelly’s friends and family (Mom, I love you). Now get ready to party like it’s 1969! As always and forever, tonight’s show is dedicated to her late father, Stewart Benzing.
Len Harvey | Pavlo / Todd White
July 7 2021 marked thirty years since Len started rehearsals for his first show at Celebrations Dinner Theatre in 1991. It was only his third professional contract and saw Len embark on a career that has filled the last three decades with wonderful adventures and memories. But his life started in the Summer of 69, literally. Born in June of that year Len was alive for all the imaginary events of tonight’s play, his twelfth with the Jubilations/Celebrations concept. Other shows you may have seen Len in include Star Warz as Obi Wan Kenobi, Elvis and The Las Vegas Hangover as Allan, Ghostbusters as The Boggart or all the way back in 1991 in Elvis and The Beach Bums as Stan.
