JILL MARTIN as RHONDA RAY
Jill is pleased to be back at it again and this time she is thrilled to be channeling the awkward (yet extremely relatable) Rhonda Ray. Jill hopes this show will tug at some heartstrings, tickle those funny bones and also remind you that it’s never too late to challenge your comfort zone. Much love to her partner and playwright Michael and their two ridiculous cats, Jughead and Josephine. Also, many thanks to Jubilations Dinner Theatre for the numerous opportunities to make a living creating art!
LAWRENCE PASLOSKE as JOHN DAVENDOODLE
Lawrence Pasloske is an Edmonton-based actor, having studied musical theatre at MacEwan University. He got his Jubilations start as George Harrison in Beatles Back in Time and then spent 6 months diving into the 90s in Wedding Singer 1999. He is so excited to take another foray into classic rock and desperately hopes that the magic of practical effects can keep him from doing any actual surfing, because they don’t teach THAT in theatre school. So, sit back and make sure to catch this gnarly show!
ABIGAIL CAREY as BARBARA ANN
Abigail Carey is delighted to return to the Jubilations stage after recently playing the role of Mary in Old Time Rock ‘N Roll! Abigail is a 2018 Toronto graduate from Randolph College for the Performing Arts’ triple threat program. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, she competed in local musical theatre festivals starting at the age of 5. Some other previous roles also include Roz in 9 to 5 (Randolph College) and Janet van de Graaf in The Drowsy Chaperone (Anne Shirley Theatre Company).
JOE GREER as SLOOP
Joe was last seen on the Jubilations stage in the production of Bewitching Elvis as Uncle Arthur. Other productions include Ferris Bueller’s School of Rock, It’s Elementary Sherlock and many more. In other cities, he has performed in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Just So Stories, The Producers, Winnie the Pooh and The Rocky Horror Show. In between gigs, he has worked as a science communicator for children, making the exploration of the universe an adventure full of wonder and delight. Cowabunga man!
MARK ARMSTRONG as BIG WILLY
Mark Armstrong is excited to be back on stage at Jubilations! He previously was in Mamma Mio in 2023, but this time he is a little less charming. Mark has also performed in Calgary with Front Row Center, Calgary Opera, and Painted Fish.
