Take in the excitement and stunning live vocals while you enjoy a delicious multi-course meal served by our character servers. It’s a live show so anything could happen. Play along and the actors might just include you in the act!
What is on the menu?
Our menu selections change with every show. However, it is always a multi-course dinner consisting of a salad, a choice of one of 5 dinner entrées and a choice of 2 desserts. The dinner entrée choices are always beef, chicken, seafood or pork, and a vegetarian selection.

TOM EDWARDS as COLONEL SANDERS
Hello all, I’m very ecstatic about joining Canadian Top Gunn: The 80s Take Flight. I’ve been with Jubilations Dinner Theatre for quite a few years now, and the shows are always fun. It has been more than a few years since I was in a show for Jubilations Dinner Theatre (that being Ferris Bueller’s School of Rock). I have also been in Butch and Sundance and the Gang, WKLP, Get Smarter and Return to Fantasy’s Island 2. I have performed for Mayfield Dinner Theatre, Shadow Theatre and the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton; and regularly perform with a local improv group in Edmonton called Die Nasty, the Live Improvised Soap Opera (for over 30 years now). I’m sure you’re going to enjoy Canadian Maverick.
MIRANDA NIEHAUS as CAPTAIN POPPY
Well, well, well… it seems Miranda is back on the Jubilations Dinner Theatre stage once again. This time, flying through the skies in this rockin’ Top Gunn musical! Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, she is excited to strut and sing for you fine folks tonight. Special thanks to her beloved for sharing the stage with her; and her mom for being her biggest fan. ENJOY THE SHOW!
SOPHIE BROWN as CAPTAIN LOON
Sophie is so excited to be back on the Jubilations Dinner Theatre stage alongside some of her best friends! You may recognize Sophie from her many appearances here at Jubilations Dinner Theatre, some of her favourite characters include: Phoebe in FRIENDS: A Parody with Ace Ventura, Gwen in Spider-Boy: The Musical
Spiderverse – 2025, Lizzie in Old Time Rock ’N Roll – 2023 and many, many more. Sophie would like to thank her amazing husband Eddie for his endless support. She hopes you enjoy Canadian Top Gunn: The 80s Take Flight as much as she enjoys being a part of it!
BRAD HAWKINS as CANADIAN MAVERICK
Hi! My name is Brad Hawkins, a Canadian artist that is happy to be back in Alberta performing in my first Jubilations Dinner Theatre production. Recently, I returned from cruise ship life aboard Carnival Cruise Lines as a rock band singer, performing multiple genres of music, all the while soaking up those sun rays. Although it’s not as hot here as in the Bahamas, I hope you have just as much fun as we take you on a trip to “THE DANGER ZONE”!
LAWRENCE PASLOSKE as SERGEANT SWEAT/IGOR
Lawrence is an actor from Leduc, Alberta and for the last three years Jubilations Dinner Theatre has been forging him in the fires of ‘interactive dinner theatre’. A man of many wigs and voices, you may recognize him most recently as Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, and the greedy banker Mr. Kurns in 1969:Dylan, Joplin and All Those Rolling Stones. He would like to thank his girlfriend Miranda for maintaining his privacy in her bio, and he would like to scold himself for totally blowing the whole operation. And special thanks to his mother for loving Tom Cruise enough to drag his father to this show 100 times (probably).
AMY BAZIN as MS. SWEENY
Amy Bazin is a performer based in Edmonton, AB. She is thrilled to be returning to the top-secret-Canadian-airforce- base alongside an incredible group
of fighter pilots! Jubilations audiences in Edmonton may remember her as Loon in Top Gunn: A Maverick Musical or as Monica in FRIENDS: A Parody With Ace Ventura. Other theatre credits include: Beauty and the Beat, Spider-Boy: The Musical Spiderverse (Jubilations Junior), White Christmas (Nuova Vocal Arts), Stir-Crazy (Edmonton Fringe Festival), and Rhinoceros (Studio Theatre).
