We all know Barbie can do anything, from being a pilot to a store clerk, teacher to rock star, party planner to… mermaid?! Barbie can do it all, but what about Ken? Most of the time he is happy to stand by and watch as Barbie has all the adventures, but what happens if Barbie disappears? Can Ken learn how to fly a plane and save the day? More importantly, can Ken get over his fear of heights?

JANELLE LEASK as Holly
Janelle is thrilled to be back on stage, bringing Holly to life in Top Gunn Barbie: Captain Ken Takes Flight! No stranger to the spotlight, Janelle’s previous roles include Gamora in The Guardians of Christmas and the hilariously mischievous Kevin in Minionz: A Despicably Musical Parody. She also took on the magical world of understudies as Aurora the cat in The Secret Life of Trolls. Janelle has a deep love for theatre and is proud to be part of the vibrant cast at Jubilations, where her passion for performance shines both on and off the stage. When she’s not entertaining audiences, she keeps things running smoothly as the bar manager at Aussie Rules Piano Bar. Janelle would like to thank her fellow cast mates, crew, and audiences for their incredible support – and hopes you enjoy the flight!
KARA-LYNE WEAVER as Skipper/ Terry
Kara-Lyne is excited for her debut with Jubilations! After studying Theatre Arts in Ottawa, she moved out west to live the simple mountain town life. Recently relocated to Calgary, she’s thrilled to be a part of the city’s vibrant art scene and to be able to pursue her passion for theatre and film. This past year, she performed in Musical Theatre for Adults (StoryBook Theatre), as Sister Mary Leo in Nunsense (Front Row Centre) as well as local commercials and TV series. When not performing, she enjoys exploring mountains.
MUNSI PARKER-MUNROE as Officer Barred/ Wizard
Munsi Parker-Munroe is overjoyed to be back once more upon the Jubilations stage, having most recently appeared in Crocodile Rock: The Legend Of Elton John, Teenage Mutant Kung Fu Turtles, Wally Wonka and The Vanilla Factory, and The Big Bang Parody: A Musical, and they’re grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented team. They want to thank their loving partner, Chelsea their ridiculous dogs Quentin and Trixie, and you, for joining us here. All that we have is our connection to one another, and songs and stories are how people have forged that connection since the dawn of human history. Munsi is thrilled at the opportunity to play some small part of that beautiful process.
FAWNS as Ken
If Barbie can do anything, so can Ken! Fawns is very excited to be back in blonde, reprising his role as Ken here at Jubilations Junior. You may have seen him in previous Jubilations Junior performances, such as Spiderboy in Spiderboy: The Musical Spiderverse, Groot in The Guardians of Christmas, or of course, as Ken in Beach Barbie’s Birthday Bash! Now strap in, and get ready for some high-flying fun!

Hi Barbies, Kens, and Bibbles! You might recognize me as Gem from The Secret Life of Trolls. I’m beyond thrilled to be back on the Jubilations Junior stage, this time stepping into the sparkly shoes of ironically another pink personality. It’s an absolute dream to bring this new adventure to life, please enjoy and remember you can be anything!
